Steve Struna, President and CEO, has over 35 years of petroleum industry experience in engineering, operations, finance, planning, and general management. Prior to launching Bayswater E&P in 2004, Mr. Struna held a wide variety of positions with BP, Amoco, including Vice President and General Manager, Onshore Gulf Coast USA; North American Natural Gas Executive Leadership Team member with responsibility for the redesign of BP’s entire onshore US operations base; CEO and President, Central Alberta Midstream – Calgary; Vice President and General Manager, Amoco Canada Gas Gathering and Processing – Calgary; Senior Manager, Corporate Finance - Chicago; Resource Development Manager, Central North Sea – London; and Project Manager, Armada Platform and Development, Central North Sea U.K. Mr. Struna received his BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University in 1981, an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1985, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1990. Mr. Struna sits on the Boards of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, Protect Colorado, and Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Colorado Concern, recently chaired the annual Gala for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and is a registered professional engineer.

Lynn Belcher

Lynn Belcher

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Industry Experience: 43 years
Bayswater Tenure: 11 years

Mr. Belcher has over 42 years of petroleum industry experience in land, business development and management activities in the contiguous United States and in the offshore Gulf of Mexico exploration and production business. Mr. Belcher joined Bayswater E&P in 2009. He has worked for Amoco Production Company, Davis Oil Company and Westport Oil and Gas for a combined fifteen years in various land and management roles. As an officer with Westport Oil and Gas from 1996-2004, he played an active role in the company’s growth through acquisitions, mergers and property exploitation, and in the successful effort to take the company public. Mr. Belcher has also founded, served as a principal, and managed several private oil and gas companies. Mr. Belcher received his B.S. degree in business from Arizona State University in 1975.

Victor Wind

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Industry Experience: over 21 years
Bayswater Tenure: 4 years

Mr. Wind has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Bayswater E&P in May 2016, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Buckhorn Energy Services. Prior to Buckhorn, Mr. Wind was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Forest Oil Corporation from August 2013 until it merged with Sabine Oil & Gas LLC in December 2014. Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer, he served in many capacities during his ten-year tenure at Forest including Senior Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer; and Vice President - Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Forest Oil, Mr. Wind served as Director of Financial Reporting and Controller for Evergreen Resources, Inc., an exploration and production company focused on the development of unconventional natural gas properties. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wind served as an audit manager at the New York-based accounting firm BDO Seidman, LLP. Mr. Wind received a BS in Accounting from Calvin College in 1995, and his CPA license in the state of Colorado that same year.

John Arsenault

John Arsenault

Senior Vice President - Engineering

Industry Experience: 34 years
Bayswater Tenure: 14 years

Mr. Arsenault has more than 33 years of experience in petroleum reservoir engineering, including reserve and economic evaluations, acquisition and divestitures, reservoir simulation and management. Mr. Arsenault joined Bayswater E&P in May 2006. He has worked as an engineer with various consulting firms in his career, including several years with Schlumberger’s Reservoir Technologies Division, and most recently, MHA Petroleum Consultants. He has worked internationally in Mexico, Germany, and Indonesia and speaks Spanish. Mr. Arsenault has significant experience with reserves evaluation and acquisition and development activities in the DJ Basin. While with Schlumberger, he managed offices in both Mexico and in the United States, leading large teams of integrated reservoir studies groups. He has extensive experience in hydraulic fracturing, having worked with the Gas Technology Institute on the implementation of various research projects. Mr. Arsenault has a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and has completed 30 hours of post-graduate work in Petroleum Engineering.

Senior Vice President - Exploration

Industry Experience: 36 years
Bayswater Tenure: 7 years

Mr. Brewster has 35 years of experience as a geoscientist in the petroleum industry. His career has been focused on oil and gas exploration, primarily as a seismic interpreter, in California, Texas, Utah, Colorado, and several international basins. Mr. Brewster was previously employed by Western Geophysical and Exxon, and he was a founding partner of Black Coral, LLC, a private E&P company that focused on the generation of prospects and plays in California. He has also worked as an independent consultant for various companies, including with Bayswater E&P, for the six years prior to becoming an employee in 2013. Mr. Brewster received a BS in Geology from St. Lawrence University in 1981 and an MA in Geology from Indiana University in 1984.

John Dyer

John Dyer

Senior Vice President – Permian Basin

Industry Experience: 36 years
Bayswater Tenure: 4 years

Mr. Dyer has been a developer of oil and gas projects since 1986 and, until recently, was working independently in Denver, Colorado. Since 2008, Mr. Dyer has been specializing in project development in the Permian Basin and has developed and sold resource-type and conventional oil and gas projects in the Midland and Delaware Basins. In 2003, Mr. Dyer’s company, “Miller-Dyer,” became asset manager and operator of the Flat Rock Gas Field located in the Southeastern Uinta Basin, Utah. Mr. Dyer managed the exploration, development and production operations at Flat Rock which included the discovery of deep gas reserves identified through the integration of 3D seismic, geologic and reservoir engineering data. Ryder-Scott engineers recognized a total proved reserve value increase from $14 million to $471 million during this time period. Miller-Dyer successfully managed the divestiture of the assets through a Merrill-Lynch/Petrie managed sales process to Whiting Oil and Gas in 2008. Prior to the formation of Miller-Dyer, Mr. Dyer was the Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for Inland Resources, Inc. of Denver, Colorado. During his seven-year tenure at Inland, Mr. Dyer developed and directed the execution of the Monument Butte, Green River sand “tight-oil“ operations, where he oversaw the drilling and fracking of over 400 wells in the field. The company recognized production growth from 65 barrels of oil per day (“BOPD”) to over 6,000 BOPD during this period. Mr. Dyer graduated with a BA in Geology from Colorado State University in 1986. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He is a licensed geologist in the State of Utah.

Kumar Ramurthy

Kumar Ramurthy

Chief Technology Officer

Industry Experience: 25 years
Bayswater Tenure: 1 year

Before joining Bayswater, Dr. Ramurthy worked for Halliburton for 21 years; held several positions while at Halliburton, most recently as their Director of Technology for North America. While at Halliburton, he won the Western Hemisphere Technology Manager of the year award twice (2013 and 2015) and Western Hemisphere MVP Award (2010). Dr. Ramurthy, in addition to serving in multiple SPE technical committees, served as a technical editor for the SPE Production & Operations and SPE Reservoir Engineering Journals. He co-authored a chapter on refracs in the recently published SPE Monograph Series titled “Hydraulic Fracturing: Fundamentals and Advancements”; and a CBM Textbook titled “Coalbed Methane: Principles and Practices” in 2008. Dr. Ramurthy also authored 16 SPE papers, holds 3 patents and was awarded SPE Regional Completion Optimization Technology Award for the Rockies in 2010. Along with Dr. Barree, he taught the “Unconventional Reservoir Stimulation: CBM and Shales” class in the USA, Canada, Columbia, Australia, Indonesia, and India. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Annamalai University, India, M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University, and his doctorate in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Kris Belcher

Kris Belcher

Vice President – Land

Industry Experience: 16 years
Bayswater Tenure: 4 years

Mr. Belcher joined Bayswater in February 2017. For the prior decade, he worked Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s conventional and unconventional properties throughout the Rocky Mountain region, including the Union Pacific Railroad Land Grant in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah; Wattenberg Field and the greater Denver-Julesburg Basin; the Powder River Basin; and Natural Buttes Field in the Uinta Basin. His tenure culminated as Land Manager of Wyoming and Utah Assets, where he managed a team of Landmen and Analysts responsible for more than 6 million acres, along with exploration and horizontal development programs in several fields. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Belcher worked as a contract Landman for Teton Energy, Focus Energy, and Bill Barrett Corporation. Prior to entering the oil and natural gas industry, Mr. Belcher was a Senior Consultant at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) where he specialized in process reengineering, quality assurance, and system implementations for US and UK telecommunications companies. Mr. Belcher received a B.S. in Business with a minor in Studio Art from Skidmore College.

Gil Guethlein

Gil Guethlein

Land Manager

Bayswater Tenure: 4 years

Ms. Guethlein has ten years of experience in oil and natural gas, during which time she has transacted on over $1B in properties. As Land Manager at Bayswater, she drives returns by administering the land portfolio, negotiating accretive contracts, advising on business risk, and fostering industry relationships, primarily in the Permian Basin. Ms. Guethlein previously managed DJ Basin Land Business Development at Anadarko and worked the Fayetteville, Haynesville, and Marcellus shale plays at BP America. She has a B.S. and J.D. from the University of Texas, is licensed to practice law in Texas and Colorado, sits on the board of Denver Association of Professional Landmen, and is an alumna of the Latino Leadership Institute.
