
Steve Struna

Steve Struna, President and CEO, has over 41 years of petroleum industry experience in engineering, operations, finance, planning, and general management. Prior to launching Bayswater E&P in 2004, Mr. Struna held a wide variety of positions with BP, Amoco, including Vice President and General Manager, Onshore Gulf Coast USA; North American Natural Gas Executive Leadership Team member with responsibility for the redesign of BP’s entire onshore US operations base; CEO and President, Central Alberta Midstream – Calgary; Vice President and General Manager, Amoco Canada Gas Gathering and Processing – Calgary; Senior Manager, Corporate Finance - Chicago; Resource Development Manager, Central North Sea – London; and Project Manager, Armada Platform and Development, Central North Sea U.K. Mr. Struna received his BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University in 1981, an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1985, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1990. Mr. Struna sits on the Boards of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association, Protect Colorado, and Coloradans for Responsible Energy Development. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Colorado Concern, recently chaired the annual Gala for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and is a registered professional engineer.

Lynn Belcher
Industry Experience: 48 years
Bayswater Tenure: 16 years
Mr. Belcher has over 48 years of petroleum industry experience in land, business development and management activities in the contiguous United States and in the offshore Gulf of Mexico exploration and production business. Mr. Belcher joined Bayswater E&P in 2009. He has worked for Amoco Production Company, Davis Oil Company and Westport Oil and Gas for a combined fifteen years in various land and management roles. As an officer with Westport Oil and Gas from 1996-2004, he played an active role in the company’s growth through acquisitions, mergers and property exploitation, and in the successful effort to take the company public. Mr. Belcher has also founded, served as a principal, and managed several private oil and gas companies. Mr. Belcher received his B.S. degree in business from Arizona State University in 1975.

Victor Wind
Industry Experience: over 26 years
Bayswater Tenure: 9 years
Mr. Wind has over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Bayswater E&P in May 2016, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Buckhorn Energy Services. Prior to Buckhorn, Mr. Wind was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Forest Oil Corporation from August 2013 until it merged with Sabine Oil & Gas LLC in December 2014. Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer, he served in many capacities during his ten-year tenure at Forest including Senior Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer; and Vice President - Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Forest Oil, Mr. Wind served as Director of Financial Reporting and Controller for Evergreen Resources, Inc., an exploration and production company focused on the development of unconventional natural gas properties. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wind served as an audit manager at the New York-based accounting firm BDO Seidman, LLP. Mr. Wind received a BS in Accounting from Calvin College in 1995, and his CPA license in the state of Colorado that same year.

Keith Engler
Industry Experience: over 30 years
Mr. Engler has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a variety of technical and management roles. Prior to joining Bayswater, Mr. Engler founded and served as the CEO of Clear Creek Resource Partners LLC, a DJ Basin-focused private equity-backed company that merged with Rockies Resources LLC in 2021. After leaving a corporate role at Encana (now Ovintiv) in 2004, Mr. Engler founded Elk Creek Energy, a portion of whose assets were merged into Savant Resources, where he became a partner. He helped Savant pursue opportunities in both unconventional oil and gas projects in the Bakken Shale, Piceance Basin tight gas, and Fayetteville Shale, among other projects. In addition to his involvement with a number of private companies, Mr. Engler has served in roles including Team Leader Jonah Field (EnCana), Team Leader Barnett Shale (EnCana), and Vice President Reservoir Engineering (Emerald Oil). His technical interests include well performance analysis and prediction, completion optimization, well spacing and enhanced recovery in unconventional reservoirs. Mr. Engler holds a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Registered Professional Engineer. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE).

Aaron Fisher
Industry Experience: 20 years
Mr. Fisher has 20 years of experience as an exploration and lead development geoscientist. He built and implemented a geologic and geophysical model that was used by prior funds to develop more than 120 wells in the Permian Basin. Prior to joining Bayswater, Mr. Fisher spent 13 years at private equity-backed Tracker Resource Development (“Tracker”), finding and developing unconventional oil and gas projects in Texas, North Dakota, Montana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. During his tenure at Tracker, he served as the lead geoscientist, acquiring, developing, and divesting multiple assets across four basins, totaling more than 1.5 billion dollars. Mr. Fisher began his career at Encana. From 2005 to 2008, he oversaw the planning and drilling of more than 250 deviated unconventional wells in the Jonah Field, Green River Basin, Wyoming. Mr. Fisher graduated with a BS in Geology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002 and an MS in Geology from Texas A&M in 2005. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA), West Texas Geological Society (WTGS), Denver Well Logging Society (DWLS), and is a Director of the Denver Explorers Club.

James Melrose
Industry Experience: 23 years
Bayswater Tenure: 6 years
Mr. Melrose joined Bayswater in 2019 as the Project Manager for the development of assets in Howard County, Texas, and began managing all operated areas in 2021. Prior to joining Bayswater, he spent 14 years with Halliburton in various engineering, sales, and management roles and two years with Pa`ahana Enterprises as a Project Manager for the design and construction of infrastructure and educational projects on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Mr. Melrose’s career at Halliburton was focused on completions and hydraulic fracturing of shale, tight sands, coal bed methane and conventional reservoirs in various Rocky Mountain basins, California, and Alaska. Mr. Melrose received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2002.

John Arsenault
Industry Experience: 39 years
Bayswater Tenure: 19 years
Mr. Arsenault has more than 39 years of experience in petroleum reservoir engineering, including reserve and economic evaluations, acquisition and divestitures, reservoir simulation and management. Mr. Arsenault joined Bayswater E&P in May 2006. He has worked as an engineer with various consulting firms in his career, including several years with Schlumberger’s Reservoir Technologies Division, and most recently, MHA Petroleum Consultants. He has worked internationally in Mexico, Germany, and Indonesia and speaks Spanish. Mr. Arsenault has significant experience with reserves evaluation and acquisition and development activities in the DJ Basin. While with Schlumberger, he managed offices in both Mexico and in the United States, leading large teams of integrated reservoir studies groups. He has extensive experience in hydraulic fracturing, having worked with the Gas Technology Institute on the implementation of various research projects. Mr. Arsenault has a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and has completed 30 hours of post-graduate work in Petroleum Engineering.

David Brewster
Industry Experience: 41 years
Bayswater Tenure: 12 years
Mr. Brewster has 41 years of experience as a geoscientist in the petroleum industry. His career has been focused on oil and gas exploration, primarily as a seismic interpreter, in California, Texas, Utah, Colorado, and several international basins. Mr. Brewster was previously employed by Western Geophysical and Exxon, and he was a founding partner of Black Coral, LLC, a private E&P company that focused on the generation of prospects and plays in California. He has also worked as an independent consultant for various companies, including with Bayswater E&P, for the six years prior to becoming an employee in 2013. Mr. Brewster received a BS in Geology from St. Lawrence University in 1981 and an MA in Geology from Indiana University in 1984.

John Dyer
Industry Experience: 40 years
Bayswater Tenure: 8 years
Mr. Dyer has been a developer of oil and gas projects since 1986 and has worked independently in Denver, Colorado. Since 2008, Mr. Dyer has been specializing in project development in the Permian Basin and has developed and sold resource-type and conventional oil and gas projects in the Midland and Delaware Basins. In 2003, Mr. Dyer’s company, “Miller-Dyer,” became asset manager and operator of the Flat Rock Gas Field located in the Southeastern Uinta Basin, Utah. Prior to the formation of Miller-Dyer, Mr. Dyer was the Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for Inland Resources, Inc. of Denver, Colorado. Mr. Dyer graduated with a BA in Geology from Colorado State University in 1986. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He is a licensed geologist in the State of Utah.

Kris Belcher
Industry Experience: 20 years
Bayswater Tenure: 8 years
Mr. Belcher joined Bayswater in February 2017. For the prior decade, he worked Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s conventional and unconventional properties throughout the Rocky Mountain region, including the Union Pacific Railroad Land Grant in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah; Wattenberg Field and the greater Denver-Julesburg Basin; the Powder River Basin; and Natural Buttes Field in the Uinta Basin. His tenure culminated as Land Manager of Wyoming and Utah Assets, where he managed a team of Landmen and Analysts responsible for more than 6 million acres, along with exploration and horizontal development programs in several fields. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Belcher worked as a contract Landman for Teton Energy, Focus Energy, and Bill Barrett Corporation. Prior to entering the oil and natural gas industry, Mr. Belcher was a Senior Consultant at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) where he specialized in process reengineering, quality assurance, and system implementations for US and UK telecommunications companies. Mr. Belcher received a B.S. in Business with a minor in Studio Art from Skidmore College.
